It was in this small town that a unique thermal spring was discovered that delivered selenium rich water with soothing and anti-free radical properties. This thermal spring water still flows through all La Roche-Posay skin care formulas.

La Roche-Posay was among the first to work alongside dermatologists to improve the quality of life for patients. The mission was to create products to complement and enhance the dermatologists' prescribed regimen.
